Republic of Korea Elects First-Ever Woman President

Ms Park Geun-hye has been elected as a the new south Korean President. Known as the “Queen of Elections”, she was elected President of the Republic of Korea (ROK) on December 19, 2012.  This makes her the country’s first-ever female president.  Many people in Korea think that she is the most powerful politician in Korea, because she worked very hard to bring her political party into power over the past 10 years.…
