Temple Run 2 has become the “fastest growing mobile game” in history when it reached 50 million downloads after only being released for 13 days. Imagini Studios, the creator of the Temple Run series shared this news.

It has also been said that, in the first 24 hours of release, the game was downloaded 6 million times. Then, after 4 days, it hit the 20 million download mark. These numbers come from downloads from iPhone, iPad, Android, and Kindle devices.

Temple Run 2 still has a lot of catching up to do to reach the original Temple Run. The original has been downloaded over 170 million times. The original game came out in 2011. After being only for Apple devices, the company later came out with an Android version in 2012. Since then, the game has skyrocketed to become a successful game on all markets.

Imagini Studios has now grown into a huge company from the husband-wife business it started out as.

Disney even hired the studio to create a Temple Run game based on the Pixar movie: Brave. This may not seem like a huge deal, but Disney usually takes care of their game making themselves. Imagini Studios has also developed games such as Max Adventure, Hippo High Dive, and Little Red Sled.
